Working for Wye - past, present and future

Data protection and privacy

The Parish Council is registered with the Information Commissioner under the Data Protection Act 1998 (Reg.Z3458715).

Accordingly, the Parish Council will protect any personal details that you provide, and store and process your data in compliance with the Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Parish Council will not share your details with any third party without your prior consent, unless required to do so by law. Data is either stored locally, or on secure servers within the UK. The Parish Council's privacy policy is available here.

  • The Parish Council needs the first line of your address and postcode to confirm that you are a real resident, not a robot.

Since 25th May 2018, to comply with the GDPR when you receive your first e-newsletter it will invite you to confirm that you wish to 'opt-in' to join the parish circulation list. (All you will need to do is press a button to confirm your consent).
