Brabourne Road closed near Pickersdane
South East Water has a permit to close Brabourne Road in the vicinity of Pickersdane Cottage, Wye for unplanned maintenance work. Emergency work is in progress to repair a leaking hydrant. The KCC Highways permit runs for six days until Monday 6th July. Olantigh Road to shut for five days from Monday 22nd June
KCC Highways plans to close Olantigh Road for up to five days in the narrow section between its junction with Sole Street and Sunley Gardens, Godmersham. KCC's legal permit for this work starts Monday 22nd June and runs until Friday 26th June. This road closure is necessary for kerbing and haunching works, and for carriageway repairs up to 450mm deep. Southeastern is operating replacement bus services to Wye throughout Sunday 21st June
Planned engineering works at Ashford station, and between Ashford and Canterbury West have closed various lines, so buses are replacing trains today between Ebbsfleet and Ashford, and between Ashford and Canterbury West. There is no High Speed service between London St Pancras and Margate. Instead HS1 services between London St Pancras and Ramsgate via Dover Priory will run between London St Pancras... Read More »

Wye branch of Cinque Port Vets to reopen
The Wye branch of Cinque Port Vets will re-open on Saturday mornings, starting 6th June, between 08.45 and 10.30, but only for the collection of supplies, e.g. parasite treatments and repeat prescriptions. Wye Road closed at Staple Lees, Hastingleigh
KCC Highways has closed Wye Road / Coldharbour Lane to through traffic, west of the junction with Cow Lees / Staple Lees. This temporary road closure is necessary to enable South East Water contractors to reinstate previous excavation works. The estimated completion date is Thursday 4th June 2020. Hinxhill Road due to close from Monday 1st June
KCC Highways has issued another temporary road closure order for Hinxhill Road.
