Temporary Overnight Road Closure – High Street, Wye, Ashford – 9 April 2020

An overnight closure of High Street, Wye, Ashford, is planned for Thursday 9 April 2020 from 7.30 pm through until approximately 6.00 am.

High Street will be closed in the general vicinity of number 34, with no through access between the junctions with The Green and Olantigh Road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Upper Bridge Street, Bridge Street and Church Street

Disruption affects Wye and three rail lines into Ashford

Following a day of heavy rain on Thursday two landslips near #Bearsted on Friday afternoon closed the Maidstone East to Ashford line. Consequently, train services to and from Wye are still disrupted.
