Wye MUGA to close for urgent repairs

Wye MUGA on opening day July 2014 with Jo Rall, Richard Sinden and Cllr Noel Ovenden

The Parish Council is having the MUGA surface deep cleaned and recent accidental damage to the surface repaired in time for the summer holidays.

The MUGA needs to close for a week from Monday 13th July while contractors undertake essential repair work, and to allow the new non-slip paint surface to cure properly. The hot dry weather forecast for the coming week will be ideal for both these jobs. The deep clean is necessary to keep the porous surface of the MUGA free-draining and safe all year round. The MUGA opened in July 2014 and this is the first time that it has had to close for repairs. When the MUGA is safe to reopen it will look as smart and play as well as it did in 2014.
