Wye with Hinxhill Parish Council is seeking a temporary Village Caretaker to cover annual leave, and take responsibility for a variety of outdoor tasks around Wye and the parish of Wye with Hinxhill. These tasks include litter picking; making regular checks on play equipment and public spaces; general maintenance duties; street cleaning; graffiti removal; road sign cleaning and other similar tasks as directed by the Deputy Clerk, and any steps necessary to protect the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. The successful applicant will be expected to work to a high standard of safety, and take pride in the appearance and upkeep of the publicly accessible areas in and around the village.

The job offers 12.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with flexibility regarding routine start and finish times, to be agreed, and call outs in exceptional events, and will pay £9.30 per hour, (monthly in arrears via BACS).
