Emergency road closure notice for White Hill, Boughton Aluph

Kent County Council Highways issued an emergency road closure notice today for White Hill, Boughton Aluph. This road is closed to through traffic from today, Monday 14th September 2020 and it may remain closed for up to 2 days, some 200 metres from The Bungalow. The alternative route is via Canterbury Road, Wye Road and Faversham Road. This road closure is necessary to enable BT Openreach to repair a broken lid in the carriageway. The repair is not connected to ongoing major works to the A252 in the vicinity of the Halfway House junction Challock. This is scheduled to complete by Friday 18th September. Please note that the Road Closure Notice for White Hill only applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and it is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
