Wye MUGA to close for resurfacing treatment
After six years of constant use the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) will close for essential maintenance work from Thursday 10th September. The court will have to remain out of use for several days (the exact length of time will be weather dependent and will be confirmed by Trevor May, the contractors, who will secure the MUGA for the duration). The contractors will re-spray the surface with a special non-slip finish and then mark out playing lines for basketball, five-a-side football and netball. This maintenance is work is crucial to keep the surface safe and playable in all weathers. We apologise for this inconvenience, but when the surface treatment has cured properly, it will look as good as new. Trevor May is based at Challock, and the firm built the MUGA in 2014.
