Kent County Council has closed Amage Road, Wye to through traffic for up to 4 days. The road has been closed at the new property Chitral, on the former Amage piggery site. This is necessary to enable UK Power contractors to carry out cabling works. Coldharbour Lane closed by a burst water main
Water flowing down the surface of Coldharbour Lane for over half a mile into Wye alerted residents to the fault. South East Water responded quickly to an online fault report and KCC Highways closed the road at Coldharbour crossroads. Amage Road, Wye to close for up to two weeks
Kent County Council has issued a Road Closure notice for Amage Road, Wye. The temporary prohibition of through traffic will enable South East Water to make new water connections in the vicinity of Amage Farm. However local access to the remainder of Amage Road will continue from either direction up to where the road is actually closed. Burst water main - Naccolt Road is closed
Southeast Water has closed Naccolt Road near the former brickworks for emergency repair work on a burst 3" water main. Diversion signs are in place. The road closure notice runs from Wednesday 4th December to the Friday 6th December.
