Network Rail has closed the line between Maidstone East and Ashford International from Saturday 7th August to Sunday 15th August inclusive. Network Rail is preparing to replace its bridge over the River Stour at Chartham. The main heavy engineering work is scheduled over the bank holiday weekend to minimise disruption. Olantigh Road to shut for five days from Monday 22nd June

KCC Highways plans to close Olantigh Road for up to five days in the narrow section between its junction with Sole Street and Sunley Gardens, Godmersham. Following a day of heavy rain on Thursday two landslips near #Bearsted on Friday afternoon closed the Maidstone East to Ashford line. Consequently, train services to and from Wye are still disrupted.
