Trainee Flood Engagement Officer
National Flood Forum
The National Flood Forum is seeking a Trainee Project Officer based in Kent for its Channel-Manche Interreg project "Building Resilience in Flood Disadvantaged Communities" 9BRIC), a 2-year social innovation project to help people to manage their flood risk. The project officer will work with communities to develop a plan and work in partnership with a range of other organisations to better manage flooding and its impacts. You will need to be warm and approachable and able to engage effectively with grass root individuals and communities at risk of flooding, as well as professional organisations. Proven project management and delivery skills are required.

• This position is home-based but it will be necessary to work across the County of Kent.

Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)
Tenterden Town Council
Tenterden Town Council is seeking to fill the full-time role of town clerk and responsible financial officer.
The town is rightly regarded as the Jewel of the Weald and has a centuries-old association with the Confederation of Cinque Ports as well as a rich local and civic heritage.
With a population approaching 8,000 and a current precept in excess of £600,000, the council is very active and has embraced localism. 16 members, six administrative staff (including a town centre and tourism co-ordinator) and three maintenance staff serve an active and involved electorate.
A lengthy transition and handover period will be offered prior to the retirement of the current clerk.

Candidates will hold a minimum of a CiLCA qualification, be familiar with accounting practices in either a detailed or supervisory role and have a record of proven, effective management of staff.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in handling projects and the ability to balance multiple projects would be an advantage. Full details of the projects in progress will be supplied with the application pack.
Starting salary be scale point 37 (£40,876) with annual increments. A higher amount would be considered for a highly qualified and exceptional candidate.

Data Quality Administrator
Wye Surgery
Four days a week. Hours: Tuesday to Friday; 8am to 5pm, 32 hrs per week
Main requirements
- An experienced quality administrator is preferred, with excellent administrative skills
- Ability to run searches and reports; and collect and submit data to relevant agencies using our practice's IT systems
- Ability to liaise and communicate with all members of the practice team and assist with any reports/searches they need
- Responsibility for the call and re-call of patients for various reviews and screening as well as communicating with patients via text messaging services
- Experience of working in general practice is desirable as is knowledge of EMIS, CQRS, QOF and Ardens.
The role is varied and demanding. The successful candidate should be flexible, essential to the role is the need to be able to work additional hours/days to cover sickness and holiday when required, as well as being able to work both as part of a team and independently.
