Urgent Treatment Centres

There are nine GP-led, Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs) in East Kent open every day of the year, including bank holidays.

UTCs can diagnose and deal with most common accidents and illnesses for which people might previously have gone to a minor injuries unit or A&E. The UTCs at Ashford, Canterbury and Margate Hospitals are open 24 hours a day. The other UTCs are open from 08.00 to 20.00.
